Global Affairs Canada · Contribution program

Tanzania Development Division

Canada works with Tanzania and other key partners to improve the quality of life of the poorest by helping to strengthen policies, systems, services and institutions in order to reduce poverty and eliminate factors that sustain the inequalities and discrimination confronting Tanzanian women and girls. Empowering women and girls to become equal participants in an inclusive, prosperous and safe society is at the heart of this support.
