Payment of the Wassenaar Agreement assessed contribution furthers the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade’s (DFAIT’s) work as specified in the Department’s Program Activity Architecture (PAA). The program activity contained in DFAIT’s PAA under the strategic outcome titled “The international agenda is shaped to Canada’s benefit and advantage in accordance with Canadian interests and values” is: Diplomacy and Advocacy – Engaging and influencing international players and delivering international programs and diplomacy.’
