Global Affairs Canada · Contribution program

World Intellectual Property Organization

The objective of paying the annual assessed contribution is to enable Canada to meet its financial obligations to WIPO as well as fulfilling the Government of Canada’s foreign and international trade policy objectives and the Department’s mandate by participating in the work of the organization and providing it with a voice in the international community. To this end, Canada pays WIPO-assessed annual dues by way of a Contribution.
